New QPR boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has warned suitors off Sunderland target Charlie Austin.
Austin is one of the players that Sunderland have been scouting over recent weeks, with the January transfer window fast-approaching.
With Austin's contract due to expire next summer, the striker's future remains uncertain over whether QPR will look to cash-in on the 26-year-old next month.
But Hasselbaink, who was appointed new QPR boss last week, insists he wants to keep Austin at Loftus Road.
"You don't pinch. He's not going to be pinched. I'm looking forward to working with Charlie," said Hasselbaink.
Meanwhile, there has been fresh speculation today over whether Sunderland could recall goalkeeper Jordan Pickford in January.
Pickford continues to shine during his loan spell at Preston, yet there is an opportunity for Sunderland to bring the England Under-21 stopper back to the Stadium of Light in January.

In injury news, Sunderland will be without midfielder Seb Larsson for a month due to a knee injury.
However, Jermain Defoe will be available for this Saturday's visit of Watford after missing last Saturday's defeat at Arsenal with a hamstring problem.
