SUNDERLAND midfielder El-Hadji Ba has sealed his season-long loan move to French side Bastia.
The Ligue 1 outfit announced earlier this week that they were close to agreeing a loan move for Ba, who arrived at Sunderland from Le Havre last summer.
The deal has now gone through, with Ba returning to his homeland with a view to a permanent switch.
Ironically, Ba has been one of the players to impress during pre-season after only making his Premier League bow for Sunderland on the final day of last season.
But Sunderland are keen for the 21-year-old to get regular first-team football and are ready to offload Ba permanently if they can make a profit on the Parisian.
