JORDAN Henderson insists West Ham’s relegation will not distract Sunderland in their attempts to finish the campaign on a high.

Upton Park promises to be a volatile environment on Sunday after the Hammers were condemned to the Championship last weekend with a last-gasp defeat at fellow strugglers Wigan.

But Sunderland have their own concerns after defeat against Wolves left their top 10 hopes hanging by a thread.

Steve Bruce’s men find themselves in 14th place, two points adrift of the top half, and need to take something from the final day if they are to fulfil the minimum expectation of bettering last season’s points tally.

Henderson told SportMail: “It’ll be a big game for us with it being the last game of the season. Hopefully we can go there and do a job.”
