PARIS St Germain boss Antoine Kombouare insists the French giants are a better club without the departed Stephane Sessegnon.
Benin international Sessegnon made a £6million switch to Sunderland during the January transfer window after a furious bust-up with Kombouare.
But PSG vowed to keep hold of the 26-year-old and he went on strike in a bid to secure the transfer.
Eventually PSG agreed to let Sessegnon leave when Sunderland opted to make a lucrative move for the midfielder.
“Sessegnon didn’t accept competition,” said Kombouare.
