NEW boy Steven Fletcher is expecting a tough test when Sunderland visit Swansea City on Saturday.

Fletcher is now in contention to make his league debut for the Cats after successfully coming through his debut in the Capital One Cup win over Morecambe on Tuesday night.

The powerful Scot expects a stern test against Michael Laudrup’s men, who have won their opening two games.

He added: “Swansea are a good side and I’m looking forward to it.

“I’m not really surprised by how well they’ve done so far. You saw them last year and they played some good football.

“They’ve just kind of kicked on from there. They’ve got a new manager, but it’s more or less the same team.

“Obviously, they’ve proved they can score goals over the first two games, but then so can we.”
