ANDREW Foreman has given West Hartlepool a major boost by declaring himself fit for tomorrow’s vital North One East trip to Old Crossleyans.
The scrum-half looked a doubt after limping off mid-way through the second half of last Saturday’s 34-0 win over another “Old” Yorkshire outfit – Brodleians.
But the 30-year-old trained Thursday night and will keep his 100 per cent record by running out at the Halifax ground on Saturday (kick-off 2.15pm).
The eldest of the two Foreman brothers at Brinkburn, Andrew has had a fine debut season with West and is third in the try-scoring charts with five, just behind Stephen Stockdale (seven) and Adam Larkin (six).
He will be a vital component in the side tomorrow with his ability to break the gainline on what is a tight pitch which is traditionally hard to score tries on.
