GRAEME Storm will today head into the second half of the BMW Italian Open desperate to make it third time lucky.
The Hartlepool golfer was equal 10th going into round three at Royal Park I Rovigo Jjust five strokes behind leader Richard Bland.
It is the third week in a row that Storm has been in contention at the very top a PGA European Tour event.
A fortnight ago he played some wonderful golf at the Omega European Masters in the Swiss Alps before a last round 75 saw him fall to 41st.
Last weekend he was in superb touch in the Netherlands where he led the KLM Open before finishing fifth.
He has carried that form to Italy where he opened with a three-under-par 69.
And yesterday was even better, recording a 68 to reach the half-way point on 137 (seven under).
