Manilla Cycling gained more points this week with another strong team display at Middlesbrough Cycle Circuit.
In the Category 4 race, Ben Reynolds produced a powerful ride throughout securing the Sprint prize before eventually finishing eigth.
Top placed Manilla rider in the race was Mark Simpson, with Guisborough rider Ellis Hutchinson claiming 6th and Ian Creek finishing ninth to gain the point he needed for category three status.
The final race of the day saw an early break featuring Hartlepool rider Adam Brooks ride away from the peleton and maintain their 20 second lead throughout the race.
Brooks was just beaten to second place in the sprint while Skelton based rider Greg Booth lead in the main field to secure fourth place.
The result meant both riders have secured their Category 2 licence for the 2015 season.
Adam said: “I am very happy to have achieved my main personal aim of the season in gaining my Cat 2 status and thanks to the team for making it possible through excellent team work.
“The hard work now starts for the Cat 2 team to prepare to be competitive next season competing against national level Elite & 1st Cat riders.”
Earlier in the week the team took part in the Bishop Auckland town centre races as part of their learning process for the 2015 season and also took part in a team Wattbike session to official begin their partnership with Hartlepool based gym Crossfit Telic.
