JEMMA Lowe is primed and ready to seize her second chance at Olympic selection.

Lowe was devastated after she was edged out in the 100m butterfly, but looked strong during last night’s 200m butterfly semi-finals at the British Gas Swimming Championship.

British record holder Ellen Gandy went fastest but Lowe was second quickest and her time of 2:08.53 minutes was inside the qualifying standard.

A repeat of that result tonight will see her earn her Team GB slot and a second Olympic appearance.
