MARTIN Adams’ hopes of winning a fourth BDO World Darts title at the Lakeside are over.
Three-time champion ‘Wolfie’ crashed out 5-2 in the quarter-finals to Jan Dekker of the Netherlands.
Dekker took a 3-0 lead but Adams responded by winning the next two, including a check-out of a 161, to put the pressure on.
But the Dutchman eventually took the seventh set to reach his second semi-final.
He will meet Alan Morris, who won a memorable encounter with James Wilson 5-2 later in the evening.
Norris and Wilson had been tied at 2-2 but Norris turned it on after the interval and won six straight legs on his way to victory.
