NEWCASTLE Falcons boss Dean Richards has completed another good bit of transfer business.
Promoted Newcastle have signed Munster centre Danny Barnes on a two-year contract.
The 23-year-old New Zealand-born player joins the Falcons after their return to the Aviva Premiership was confirmed.
The Ireland-qualified Barnes said: “I am really excited at the prospect of joining Newcastle Falcons, a club that has serious ambitions of going all the way to the top.”
Barnes is Newcastle’s seventh signing for next season, joining Rory Clegg, Andy Saull, Phil Godman, Mike Blair, Scott Lawson and Fraser McKenzie
