West Hartlepool fall to defeat at Bradford and Bingley in Division Three North

So far 2012 has been a long hard slog on the road for West Hartlepool.

The Brinkburn side did come back with three consolation league points from Rossendale and Lymm, but were always up against it at in-form Bradford and Bingley.

Before the game, brothers Andrew and Gareth Foreman cried off through family commitments and injury respectively, while stand-in stand-off Stu Waites was held up en route to Bingley, arriving with replacement prop Ross Wood five minutes after kick-off.

With West’s pack distinctly second-best in the scrums, they were feeding off scraps.
