What the papers say.
  • Newcastle full-back Steven Carr, whose contract expires at the end of the season is tipped to make a move to Merseyside, according to reports today


  • The former Tottenham defender is being tracked by Everton, reckons the Daily Mirror.

  • Sunderland are tipped to make Man City's Stephen Ireland an £8m summer signing, reports The Sun.
