FASCINATING displays, crafts and activities for all the family will be on offer as a popular event celebrating the history of Hartlepool returns next month.
The annual Headland Heritage festival is taking place on the weekend of July 12 and 13 this year.
Various organisations and groups have already signed up to take part but others still have the chance to register an interest ahead of the festival.
This year’s event has a military theme to mark the centenary of the start of the First World War.
A series of events and activities will be held across the weekend in the Borough Hall, at Croft Gardens and on the Headland Putting Green and High Street.
Activities for children, a climbing wall and re-enactment groups will all play a part in the weekend.
David Geen, chairman of the Headland Heritage Committee, said: “We’re all set for another absolutely fantastic weekend.”
Groups and organisations can set up displays in the Borough Hall over the weekend while crafts and other items can be sold at stalls on the High Street. To book a spot in the Borough Hall call (01429) 428489 or to book a stall on the High Street call (01429) 428404.
