GAS fitter Colin Kitching has a pastime which he certainly excels in.
The 53-year-old, who is “Hartlepool born and bred”, told us: “I have been into photography for longer than I care to remember.”
Colin added: “My main focus in the past has always been landscapes.”
But Colin decided to take a break from taking photos and said: “After a break of a few years I needed something to rekindle my interest and the best thing I ever did was join the Hartlepool Camera Club.”
Colin is now a keen member of the club which meets in the People Centre in Raby Road.
“They are a very friendly and knowledgeable bunch and since joining two years ago I have taken more interest in pretty much every aspect of the art, although finding the time to fit it all in is not so easy,” Colin admitted.
These photos show Colin’s passion is well worth sharing and if you want to find out more about Hartlepool Camera Club, visit www.hartlepoolcameraclub.com.
