A THRIVING amateur dramatic group will celebrate 60 years of entertaining audiences with a spectacular show.
Hartlepool Stage Society is celebrating its diamond anniversary with a two night musical review.
The show is called 60 Years of Song and will be performed to the public on Thursday, May 1, and Friday, May.
Hartlepool Town Hall Theatre, Raby Road, Hartlepool, is the venue for the show which features routines from a host of well-loved stage musicals.
Society member Sarah Barton said: “It features selections of songs from most of the musicals that we have performed over the last 60 years including Oliver, Annie Get Your Gun, Carousel, My Fair Lady and even some Gilbert and Sullivan.”
The society is currently based in the Throston Community Centre after moving last year from their previous premises in Osborne Road.
The group also recently introduced its own junior section for the first time although talented youngsters have been part of their shows for years.
Tickets for 60 Years of Song are priced at £8 full price and £7 concessions. They can be ordered by contacting society members, Sarah Barton on 07882 576863 or through the stage society’s Facebook page
