A STAR of an American reality TV series inspired young dancers when she dropped in to share some of her secrets.
Twelve-year-old Mia Diaz, who appears in the show Dance Moms: Miami, showed members of Seaton Carew Academy of Dance some of her routines during a visit.
She was joined by her choreographer Tanner Wilson who passed on some top tips top the young dancers in the class at Brierton Sports Centre.
Denise Hair, one of the principals of Seaton Carew Academy of Dance, said: “The girls were really excited because they watch Dance Moms on TV and they’ve watched her routines on YouTube so they were absolutely thrilled to be given the chance to do it.
“We knew she was going to a couple of other schools in Hartlepool so we contacted her manager and arranged it for her to come.”
Dance Moms: Miami is a behind the scenes look at Miami-based Stars Dance Studio and follows the ups and downs and its young wannabes.
