A DANCE studio owner is planning a summer school which promises to be a rocking good success.

Kim Ross, who owns and runs KR Dance in Dalton Street in Hartlepool, will be running the scheme next month.

She told Dance Fever: “It is a week long performing arts school, for anyone aged five-plus through to 20 to come along and sing, dance and act for an entire week with us in our brand new studio with professional instructors.

“It is perfect even for those who have never done performing arts before.”

The school is no strangers to running summer schools for keen dancers.

Kim added: “Last year’s Annie school was a sellout and a huge success with kids performing a showcase for family and friends at the end.

“This year is based on the amazing We Will Rock You and we will be rocking out from August 4 to August 9.”

All the students who take part will get a T-Shirt, wristband, two free tickets for their parents to attend the showcase event, and costumes.”

The school has recently mobed into a bigger premises in Dalton Street, just yards from her previous studio.

Kim previously told Dance Fever: “It will give us three dance studios rather than one. It will mean we can do everything under one roof.

“We are converting a showroom into a dance studio.

“We shall be running all sorts from classical ballet to pole fitness and this is a big adventure for us.”
