A PERFORMING arts school is planning a Christmas fair to help raise funds for its next show.

The Edith Harrison Performing Arts academy will hold its Christmas fair on Saturday, December 13, from 10am to noon at the Blind Welfare Centre in Avenue Road. Admission is £1 which includes coffee and tea with a mince pie or biscuit.

Other highlights will include a raffle, tombola, cake stall, toys, games and bric-a-brac. There will also be performances by the academy’s students and academy owner Edith Harrison said: “It is all for funds for our show next May.”

The raffle at the fair has all sorts of prizes including a Christmas hamper, Christmas cake, wine and chocolates.

Edith would love to hear from more children who would like to join the academy. It holds classes on Saturdays from 9.30am, Mondays from 4.30pm and Thursdays from 5.30pm.

Anyone interested should come along to the classes.
