A dance school which is in the television spotlight will open its doors to potential newcomers this week.
The Debbie Barrass Academy of Performing Arts will hold an open day on Friday between 11am and 4pm.
Its a very exciting time for our school with the TV show and the projects in the pipeline. We are delighted to be opening our doors to new talent, there is no better time to be joining usDebbie Barass
Organisers have described it as “a great opportunity to experience what the Debbie Barrass School has to offer.”
Academy owner Debbie Barrass is especially on the lookout for babies, infants and young juniors to join and learn all genres of dance, music theatre, singing and acrobatic drama - but all age groups are welcome.
The aim is to repeat the success of Team DB who are the elite performers at the school.
Dedicated dancers may find they get commercial opportunities to perform across the UK and internationally, say school bosses.
But just as importantly, the school is looking for those who want to have fun, enjoy their training and performance, and dance with a smile on their face.
Debbie’s school is in the national spotlight because it features in the hugely successful Dance Mums With Jennifer Ellison show which has begun its second series.
Debbie said: “It’s a very exciting time for our school with the TV show and the projects in the pipeline. We are delighted to be opening our doors to new talent, there is no better time to be joining us.”
“Our school is set to grow in many ways and we are going to see so many new opportunities to present our talented pupils to audiences.”
She said the open day was “perfect for parents to bring their children along and see for themselves the great work we do behind our closed doors, to get a taste of the hard work we love to put in.”
