Hartlepool dance show set to be A Class Act

MONTHS of hard work will come to fruition when a dance school holds its spectacular show.

The Watson Academy of Dance and Performing Arts is putting on a performance called A Class Act. Officials from the academy have described the four-night run as a “show not to be missed”.

We have been planning this for the last two to three months.

It runs from tonight until Saturday at the Town Hall Theatre in Raby Road, Hartlepool with performances at 6.45pm each evening until Saturday.

Academy teacher Kelly Theasby said: “We have a cast of 80 people, from babies to seniors.

“The show is a variety show with everything from West End musicals to current pop.”

Kelly added: “We have been planning this for the last two to three months.”

The Watson academy holds classes in styles including tap, ballet, modern stage, jazz, acrobatics, as well as musical theatre, and adult tap.

The show includes musical tributes to the likes of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as well as the Bodyguard and Las Vegas showgirls.”

Tickets are £9.50 for adults, and £8.50 for children and people on concessions.
