But that was not the only success for the school which marked a return to the first championship MBA ever competed in, and in which student Maizie Hunter got a runner-up spot in the infant song and dance section last year.
Michelle said: “We took away lots of awards at the presentation and Maizie Hunter was placed fourth in the supreme champion of the week.”
Now comes another series of events for the busy academy. Michelle said: “We are in the process of planning summer school days which will run for one week during the holidays and will be something fantastic.
“We are now working toward Hartlepool Music Festival, which we are very much looking forward to. It will be the second year we have taken part and last year was an incredible achievement for the school.
The academy is now based at Enterprise House in Thomlinson Road in the dance studios alongside the On Your Toes dance school.
