A RISING dancing starlet was the queen of a toe-tapping contest when she bagged herself a clean sweep of six trophies.
Gorgeous Lola Garforth–Hart won each competition she was entered into at a week-long dance festival held during the recent school holidays in Prestatyn, Wales.
The seven-year–old, who attends Watson’s Academy of Dance, in Park Road, danced in tap, ballet, modern, character, national and song categories wowing the judges every single time.
The youngster was also entered into an under 14s championship class at the event and she came fourth, against some girls who were twice her age.
Lola’s mum, Lisa Garforth, 33, a trainee educational psychologist, said the whole family was delighted with her achievements throughout the event.
The mum–of–two said: “Lola was over the moon with herself because she’d danced her heart out the full week in all of the competitions.
“Other people commented on how she’d done and her dance teacher was saying how she was coming into herself and building her confidence.”
Lola, who lives off Park Road, Hartlepool, with her mum, dad Michael Hart, 35, a civil servant, and little brother Ronnie, two, started taking part in contests when she was three.
