RISING dance stars Ruff Diamond had 5,000 adoring fans screaming when they took to the stage at a major gig.
The Hartlepool street dance crew opened the show - and then performed again half way through - at the sellout Wave 105 FM concert in Bournemouth to great acclaim.
There was also a chance to meet the other acts including Paloma Faith, Travis, Stooshe, Mark Owen and Union J.
Mark Watson, a liaison between the crew and their manager, said: “It went really well. As well as 5,000 screaming fans, there was 30 minutes of constant photographs with fans.”
He said the crew was “very well received by all”.
The Hartlepool Mail revealed Ruff Diamond had signed up with Beautiful Movements, the company led by former Pussycat Doll and Sky One’s Got to Dance judge, Kimberly Wyatt.
The crew of Zac Healey, 22, Aaron Staunch and Jason Lund, both 19, Ryan Wilson, Ryan Llewellyn and Lewis Cope, all 18, have a number of other major appointments looming.
They will be the opening act on the bill for a Sky concert in Edinburgh in front of 10,000 people.
They will also be joining the likes of JLS and The Wanted on the line-up for the North East Live event at the Stadium of Light.
