LIVE music, food and a raffle. It’s a great combination and it is coming to Hartlepool to help raise money for a worthy cause.
The Hartlepool’s Maritime Experience will be the setting for an event on Thursday, May 30, to raise money to go towards the British Heart Foundation.
Music will be provided by bands including Skyran and Blind Stag.
A meal included in the ticket price of £10.
Hartlepool became the first British Heart Foundation (BHF) Heart Town in the north.
BHF officials felt the town was an ideal place to target for help at a time when more than 100 people were still dying of heart disease in Hartlepool each year.
The deal means more will be done to bring communities together through local fundraising and volunteering as well as raising awareness of heart disease.
The project will also involve the public by offering residents support services.
