ONE lucky Jackson’s fan was fortunate enough to meet her idols prior to the gig attended by crowds from across the North East.
Feature writer Marie Westmoreland was granted an interview with three of the four American icons: Jackie, Tito, and Marlon ahead of their performance.
Despite Jermaine not being present – as he was resting his voice ahead of their headline slot tonight – the trio were in high spirits at Hardwick Hall Hotel.
Smiling from ear to ear, Marlon said: “We are going to have a Jacksons’ party tonight”.
He then asked Marie, 30, from Hartlepool: “Are you ready to party?” to which her reply was an obvious yes.
And what a party.
The moves on the siblings were unbelievable for their years, and they moved across the floor like they were still enthusiastic young kids eager to please the audience.
At one stage the crowd’s reaction brought three members of the group to tears visibly moved to tears, the love being shown to them by the region’s public.
Everyone’s eyes were glued to the stage for the whole set, and their feet did not stop moving.
Hardwick definitely did feel it.
