Texas, Jools Holland and Alison Moyet to perform at Sedgefield’s Hardwick Live Garden Party

CHART-TOPPING acts are set to perform at a garden party which is expected to attract more than 7,00 people.

Glaswegian rockers Texas will headline the Hardwick Live Garden Party at the Hardwick Hall Hotel in Sedgefield.

They will be supported by Jools Holland and Alison Moyet at the event which takes place on Saturday, September 14 from 12pm to 11pm.

John Adamson, Managing Director of Ramside Estates which owns the hotel, said: “The Hardwick Live Garden Party is a first for us and a unique music event for the region.”

Also in the line-up will be Britain’s Got Talent sensations the Loveable Rogues along with local acts such as Natasha Haws and the Fishburn Brass Band.

Along with live music on the main stage, the Manor Born DJ stage will feature sets from DJ’s such as founder of Retro Paul Taylor, Allister Whitehead, Pete Wharrier, Michael Johnson and Rob Oxley.

There will also be a hot air balloon and an international food village, a Champagne Taittinger marquee, Pimms bar and a Mojito tent.

The event will raise funds for Daisy Chain, the Norton-based charity which supports families affected by autism.

Tickets are £39 per adult, £10 for 13-16 years olds and £5 for children aged 3-12 years. Children aged 2 and under are free. Tickets for children are available when purchased with an adult and from the Hardwick Live website only.
