AN ARRAY of talent was on show for dozens of families who enjoyed their Sunday afternoon in the sun-soaked Ward Jackson Park.
Fifteen performers from Red Dreams treated the audience as they took to the bandstand in the beautiful surroundings of the park.
Bandstand Unplugged was organised by the charity in partnership with Hartlepool Borough Council as part of the Festival of the North East.
And at the same time, a Big Lunch event was also taking place in the park, giving families the chance to enjoy a picnic and the host of fun and free activities on offer.
Giant games, craft activities and family-friendly characters were all part of the fun at the event, which was also organised by the council.
Dawn McManus, founder of Red Dreams, said it was a fantastic day for everyone involved.
Dawn, 42, said: “It was a great day. A lot more people were there than I think us or the council expected.
“It was fantastic for all of our performers, to perform in such beautiful surroundings in front of such a nice big crowd was excellent.”
Dawn said she is hopeful Bandstand Unplugged will now become an annual event.
