Billingham theatre needs youngsters to star in Miracle on 34th Street

STARRY-EYED youngsters could appear on a Tees Valley stage and meet “Santa Claus” at the same time.

The Forum Theatre in Billingham is searching for aspiring young performers to appear in Miracle on 34th Street which runs from Wednesday, November 20, to Friday, November 22.

To stand a chance of winning a part as one of Santa’s little helpers, children should write a short letter addressed to Santa Claus telling him why they would like to meet him.

All entries should be emailed to by Wednesday, November 6. The winner will also receive a family ticket to see the show on a date of their choice.

The show is the story of a youngster called Susan who dreams of a father and brother to make her family whole, and of Kris Kringle who claims he is the real Santa Claus.

Performances are at 7.30pm each evening with a 2.30pm matinee on the Thursday.
