Comedy fans are in for a treat next weekend.
The Hot Potato Comedy Club is bringing a trio of funnymen to the stage at the Town Hall Theatre, in Hartlepool.
Craig Murray, Paul Myrehaug and guest MC Ian Smith will be providing the laughs at the venue, in Raby Road, on Saturday, May 28.
Comedian come actor Craig Murray has been seen by millions of viewers nationwide after staring in the popular Plusnet adverts on TV.
Peter Vincent, of event promoters Ten Feet Tall, said: “We’re looking forward to a top night here.
“We saw Ian Smith absolutely storm Edinburgh last summer, and we jumped at the chance to bring him to Hartlepool as special guest MC.
“Millions of people know Craig Murray from those fantastic Plusnet ads on the telly. “A brilliant comic, a real down-to-earth crowd pleaser – just don’t ask him to fix your broadband.
“And don’t miss Paul Myrehaug, a brilliant former finalist at both the Boston and Seattle International Comedy Festivals. Sharp, dry and absolutely hilarious, he’s been ripping it up across America and now he’s going down a storm all over the country here too.
“So, that’s an absolutely belting line-up you’d go a long way to see, and we can’t wait to get cracking on the night.”
Tickets for the comedy night, which kicks off at 8pm, cost £9 or £7 if bought up to a week in advance.
