VIDEO: Pantomime launch at Billingham Forum

STARS of Billingham Forum’s pantomime officially launched this year’s new show by donning their costumes.

The classic fairytale Snow White and the Seven Dwarves will be performed to families over the festive season.

Among its stars are veteran funnyman Jimmy Cricket as Bumbles, while Snow White is played by Victoria Holtom who is originally from Billingham.

She will be a familiar face to audiences of last year’s Jack and the Beanstalk when she played the Vegetable Fairy at the forum.

Kurtis Stacey, best known as Alex Moss from ITV soap Emmerdale, plays the villainous henchman.

And no panto would be complete without a dame and Snow White is no different with actor Craig Ansell as Sarah the Cook.

Jimmy said at yesterday’s launch: “It’s one of my favourite pantomimes because it is such an enchanting story.

“It’s quite magical and I’m really looking forward to it. We have got a wonderful local girl called Victoria as Snow White.

“It’s good to have local people in the cast and we hope people come and see us.”

Snow White and the Seven Dwarves starts on December 7 and runs until January 5. Seat prices vary and for more information contact the theatre.

The theatre is recommending people book early.
