Why no fuss?

The former Governor of the Bank of England, Sir Mervyn King, appeared on the Andrew Marr show recently.

He said if Britain left the EU this would bring great opportunities for the country.

No one made a fuss and no news channel ran a story about Sir Mervyn’s comments.

Boris Johnson was on the same episode of the show straight afterwards.

Boris managed to make, what I consider to be, an even more absurd parody of himself than usual.

This may have eclipsed Sir Mervyn’s appearance.

Now Sir Mervyn’s successor, Sir Mark Carney, has said we should stay in the EU everyone hears about it.

Why does no one publicise Mervyn King’s remarks?
