Garry Monk's frustrations at Sheffield Wednesday ahead of meeting with former side Middlesbrough
Monk will come up against his former club Middlesbrough on Wednesday when the final round of Championship fixtures will take place.
Wednesday are 11 points above the relegation zone and seemingly safe but are still awaiting a decision about an EFL charge for financial irregularities.

Birmingham were hit with a nine-point penalty for breaking profit and sustainability regulations last season, while Wigan are set to receive a 12-point deduction for going into administration earlier this month.
When asked about Wednesday’s situation ahead of his side’s meeting with Boro, Monk said: “From a logic point of view, it makes no sense that it's gone on this long.
"It's not a good situation for anyone to be in but regardless of any EFL situation, we need results.”

“It’s frustrating because had we done the basics right at Fulham, like we did in the previous two games, we’d have got a result because it was otherwise a good performance against tough opposition,” added Monk.
“They all need to show something, it’s a collective, it’s not just about individuals and we all have the responsibility, myself included and this game on Wednesday we have to win.
“We know offensively our team can make chances, we can score goals but we cannot defend how we’ve defended in the second half of this season.
