Hide Ad1. How has Barnsley’s start to the season gone?
Given the fact all key players have remained at the club, very disappointing. No goals, no wins and by the sounds of it, a new coach needed after the match.
2. What formation are Barnsley likely to play at the Riverside?
3-4-1-2 in possession.
3. Who are the players Boro will need to keep an eye on, and what’s the latest on injuries?
Ben Williams looks set to miss the most of this season. Of the players available Callum Styles has been catching the eye as a box to box midfielder with an eye for a goal. Ever-presents Cauley Woodrow and Alex Mowatt have perhaps been a bit below par but when on form possess all the qualities that an opponent should fear.
4. What’s the situation with Gerhard Struber?
In today's press conference Strüber told us that his agent is talking to other clubs but he's focused on this match. This is a worrying sign as many fans interpret this as a possible move away perhaps out of disappointment with a board of owners that don't seem to back him in the transfer market.. time will tell.
5. What is the aim for Barnsley this season?
For now ? Survival but given the performances at the end of last season we SHOULD be competing, not just surviving.

On current form and the distractions off the pitch I can't see anything else than a Boro win (2-1)
