1. Seymour Civil Engineering.

2. Utility Alliance
This go-ahead firm celebrated three wins at the 2017 Hartlepool Business Awards - the trophies for the Service sector, Most Promising Business and Overall Business of the Year.

3. JDR Cables
A double win for JDR Cables in 2016 when it won the Manufacturer of the Year and Business of the Year titles. The award came at a time when the firm enjoyed phenomenal growth since it first opened in Hartlepool in 2008, expanding from 97,000 sq ft of warehouse space to more than 280,000 sq ft. 4. Deepdale Solutions
Deepdale Solutions, which marked its 21st year in business in 2015, lifted the trophy as the Hartlepool Business of the Year.
