No new coronavirus cases confirmed in Hartlepool and no more virus deaths

No new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Hartlpool and the town has seen no more virus-related deaths.

The Government confirmed on Sunday, May 16, that a further four people who tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19) had died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in the UK to 127,679.

Deaths are recorded as Covid-19 related where a person has died within 28 days of a positive test.

Across the UK on Sunday, May 16, it was announced that 1,926 more people had tested positive for coronavirus, bringing the total since the start of the pandemic to 4,450,777.
