There are steam locomotives galore in this collection of photos which comes from the Hartlepool Museum Service and Hartlepool Library Service.
It is a wonderful reminder of a time gone by. For example, look at the queues for the train at Seaton Carew or the number of passenger coaches on the train at West Hartlepool station.
Coal wagons at the Cemetery North Junction and a photo at Hart Station are also included in the selection.
