Magnificent Mecca is going all Christmassy! And it's no stranger to wonderful scenes as these retro photos show

Would you believe it! A Hartlepool venue is planning Christmas in the middle of summer.

The Hartlepool Mail reported how Mecca was ready to host Christmas events on June 25 because so many people missed out on a normal festive season during the pandemic.

There will be decorations, mince pies and a Christmas jumper competition but Mecca is no stranger to great events as these archive photos show.
