Harlepool's Mecca Bingo named among luckiest in North East as winners pocket over £2m

A year of big wins at Mecca Bingo Hartlepool has seen players go home with a total of £2,059,848.

That makes Hartlepool the company’s second luckiest in the North East – behind the £2,520,021 won by players in Stockton.

Lynne Butterworth, general manager at Mecca Bingo Hartlepool, said: “We are incredibly proud to reveal the life-changing sums of money that have been won throughout 2019 by our players.

“Not only have our customers tested their luck at winning our whopping prize giveaways, but they have also experienced the sociable environment available in clubs offering the community lots of bingo fun.”

In all players at the firm’s 15 North East clubs won £20,137,247 in the last 12 months.

Across Mecca’s 77 clubs, there has been an average of £265,000 won per day in 2019.
