A beer, cider and music extravaganza is set to take place in Hartlepool later this summer.
Hartlepool Rugby Club bosses have announced that the organisation will play host to its first HRFC Hootenanny and Beer Festival.
The much-anticipated event will be held at the rugby club’s ground in Mayfield Park, off Easington Road, in Hartlepool.
It will be held on Saturday, August 29,
The organisers have yet to finalise ticket prices, and also a line-up of musicians who will be performing at the event.
A spokesman for the club urged people to buy a ticket and come along, as it is expected to be a great event.
He said: “This is a celebration of real ale, cider and live music.
“Ticket details and line-up announcements will be coming very soon.”
Mayfield Park was officially opened in 1970, and has been the home of Hartlepool RFC for over 40 years.
