You could win this £90,000 house for just £2 with Hartlepool company
A new Hartlepool company is running a competition offering entrants the chance to win a £90,000 house for just £2.
Website Giveaway Genie are giving away a fully refurbished three-bedroom home in the North East to the winner.
It will also raise funds for Hartlepool’s Alice House Hospice with a percentage of the ticket sales being donated to the charity.
And as an added incentive, £5,000 will be won by a randomly selected entrant who shares the competition on social media.
Stuart Davison, who runs www.giveawaygenie.co.uk said: “This is our first campaign. Tickets have been selling quickly.
"The competition is proving very popular with those saving to get on the property ladder, parents wanting to offer financial help to their children, those interested in becoming landlords and those who simply plan to sell and enjoy the cash.
"By offering a prize like this, we’re giving people the chance to win a house and to donate to an amazing charity.”
Mr Davison, who has been involved with property for a number of years including various self-build projects, said the home has been fully decorated and been given a new kitchen, bathroom and more work done to it.
"It’s pristine, like a new house,” he said.
It has been independently valued at £84,950 and £89,950 by two local estate agents.
The location of the house is not being revealed at this stage following legal advice.
Viewings are not being held but photography and a video is available on the Giveaway Genie website.
It hopes the small entry price will still encourage people to enter.
Ten percent of net ticket sales will be donated to Alice House Hospice which Stuart and his family have supported for years and which has cared for a relative.
Hospice fundraiser Greg Hildreth said: “We are really pleased to have been nominated as the chosen charity to receive a donation from this draw.
"Thanks to Giveaway Genie and best of luck to all entrants.
"The money we receive will be used to provide care and support to local families affected by incurable illnesses.”
The closing date for the competition is Friday, April 30, with a live draw being held on Monday, May 17.
