Memories and music

THE songs are timeless but the show is brand new.

That’s the Memory Lane production which comes to the Town Hall Theatre in Raby Road, Hartlepool, on Thursday, March 31.

There will be two shows to keep the audience entertained with a matinee at 2.30pm and an evening performance at 7.30pm.

It’s a chance to enjoy a musical journey taking in sounds from the 1940s through to the 1970s and all decades in between.

The greatest hits of the decades will be performed featuring songs made famous by Judy Garland, Doris Day, Elvis Presley, Cliff Richard and Abba.

Timeless Theatre Productions is staging the show and have promised new songs, costumes and routines in a journey through the days of the music hall.

Vocalists who have performed on the international stage will be joined by dancers in the show titled Memory Lane.

Tickets are priced at £11 and £10 with concessions and the show is expected to last for two hours and 20 minutes including the interval.

Timeless Theatre Productions has more than 40 years experience in the entertainment industry and its Memory Lane theatre tour started earlier this month.

Hartlepool is the 14th stop on the itinerary and will be followed by a performance at the Town Hall, in Middlesbrough, on Wednesday, April 6, at 2.30pm and 6.30pm. Tickets for the Middlesbrough shows are priced at £11 or £9 with concessions.

The rest of the tour takes in towns such as Solihull, Felixstowe, Aberdeen, Skegness and Tamworth.

Anyone wanting tickets for the Hartlepool show should contact the theatre box office on (01429) 890000.
