FORMER railway workers are being urged to get back on track during a reunion this week.
Matt Daley, 91, is organising a repeat reunion for anyone who ever worked on Hartlepool’s railways.
These can include retired and active railwaymen of British Rail and other firms.
The event, which has been held twice a year for the past 16 years, will be held tomorrow night, from 7.30pm, at the Princess Helena pub, in Whitby Street, Hartlepool.
Mr Daley, from the Hart Lane area, said: “There is not many of us alive and kicking, but those who are fit enough, please attend.
“We may not have many more get-togethers, time is catching up on us.”
