The old Hartlepool College of Further Education must have had hundreds of thousands of students through its doors since it opened in the 1960s.
This week Memory Lane takes a look back to the 1980s and 1990s at some of the students who who were on courses at the Stockton Street college.
The college has since been demolished and replaced by the impressive multi-million pound college which was officially opened by HRH the Duke of York in February last year.
Did the college play a part in your career? What are your memories of the students and lecturers?
Write to Tom Collins at Memory Lane.
See Saturday’s Hartlepool Mail (April 13) for lots of college pictures from the 1980s and 1990s.
