LEARNING looked like a lot of fun in the last century.

This selection of snaps from the late 1980s and early 1990s show quite a variety of activities at Hartlepool Sixth Form College.

Perhaps not all of them would pass a health and safety assessment nowadays but experiments like the one below – to measure the velocity of an air gun pellet – certainly look intriguing.
