THERE were ghosts, ghouls and fun galore at a Hartlepool event with a real Halloween feel.
The ever-popular Spoo-Quay event was back at the Hartlepool’s Maritime Experience last night (wed) and continues tonight with another action-packed agenda of ghost hunting and pumpkin trails.
Spoo-Quay included a chance for children to hunt monsters, search out ghosts and come along in fancy dress with prizes for the best costumes.
The event, which is once again sponsored by Niramax Total Waste Solutions. has a theme this year of Spoo-Quay Busters and continues tonight from 5.30pm and run until 8pm.
The fun also includes a pumpkin competition and a ghost hunt in the Museum of Hartlepool.
There will be creepy crawlies and a story teller who will be on board the historic HMS Trincomalee.
Entertainment will be provided by the students from East Durham and Houghall College. The student fun will include a ghost hunt, a mummy exhibit and a shadow puppet theatre.
