SLIDESHOW: Reader’s feline snaps

COLLEGE worker Gary Kester has travelled all over to capture great images.

But on this occasion, the inspiration for his shots lay much closer to him.

He took these wonderful photographs of his pet cats Charlie and Chester, who he described as “a hilarious double act”.

Charlie is the ginger cat and Chester is his black and white companion. They provide Gary, who works at Hartlepool College of Further Education, with plenty of fun and with photos galore.

It could be you following in the footsteps of Gary by having your work featured in this column.

If so we would be delighted to hear from you.

We want pictures on any theme, whether it’s landscapes or portraits, events or wildlife.

All you have to do is send an email with lots of details about yourself such as your age, name and background on your family, occupation, interests and hobbies – plus a photograph of yourself.

Also send us nine or 10 examples of your photography work and we will make sure you get the publicity your efforts deserve.
