It’s been one year since the world lost one of its smallest, and smiliest, superheroes.
Little Bradley Lowery slipped away 12 months ago, on July 7, 2017.
The world got caught up in his brave fight against terminal neuroblastoma cancer, and watched on as the six-year-old made once-in-a-lifetime memories with his family and friends.
His trademark thumbs up and beaming smile became a symbol of hope for Bradley’s thousands of supporters, and his touching journey affected all of us.
One year on from his death, we have taken the time to remember the six-year-old, from Blackhall, and all of the amazing things he got to do.
His life may have been short, but it was filled with wonderful memories and has left a meaningful legacy for so many other families.
Since last July, Bradley’s mum Gemma, family friend Lynn Murphy and other supporters have worked to set up a foundation in his name.
It works to raise awareness and money for other children in need. A number of events have been held to support its cause.
