A night at the museum

A MUSEUM is inviting people to sleep-over among its exhibits, skeletons, sea monsters and Saxons.

A Night at the Museum is being held at the Museum of Hartlepool, at the town’s Marina, where adults and children can bring along their sleeping bags, pillows, warm pyjamas, toothbrushes and midnight snacks and have a sleep-over.

Museum staff will provide breakfast, refreshments and activities with the cost of tickets being £15 per child and £7 per adult per night.

Pre-booking for the event, which is suitable for children aged five years and upwards, is essential as there are only 40 places.

The sleepover will be taking place on Friday, July 27, and the last Friday of every month up until November 30 from 6.45pm until 9am.

For further information or to book, contact the museum on (01429) 860077.
