Families enjoyed a night of Monster Fun when Halloween arrived early in Hartlepool tonight.
Hundreds of youngsters and people of all ages enjoyed a spook-tacular night of thrills and chills at Hartlepool’s Maritime Experience’s Spoo-quay.
The tourist attraction was alive with entertainment including spine-tingling storytelling on board HMS Trincomalee, a devilish disco on the paddle steamer Wingfield Castle, magician, spooky trails and ghost walks, and performances by Casting Call and East Durham College students.
Dominic McIntyre, line manager at Hartlepool’s Maritime Experience, said: “We had over 600 people turn up, it is great family entertainment and everyone had a brilliant time.”
It happens all over again tomorrow night between 5.30pm and 8pm.
Tickets cost £4.50 or £18 for a family ticket of two adults and three children, while under twos are free.
They must be paid for and collected in advance from Hartlepool Art Gallery and Tourist Information Centre on (01429) 890000.
